This sophisticated piece of technology is an important diagnostic and educational tool. It allows us to view your teeth using magnification and show you exactly what’s happening inside your mouth on a display monitor.

Emitting only 10% of the radiation compared with traditional x-rays, digital x-ray images can be enlarged and displayed on a TV screen for precise diagnosis and an easier explanation of your treatment requirements.

Lasers have been used in dentistry for many years for a variety of applications – the most common being teeth whitening and the treatment of tooth decay, gum disease and some hard and soft tissue surgical procedures.

Dental lasers offer a more comfortable appointment as they do not come in contact with your teeth so there’s no vibrating sensation. They also enable your treatment procedure to be completed faster, reducing appointment times.

Lasers can also minimize the need for an anesthetic injection, however, depending on your procedure, they may not eliminate it completely. A dental laser also aids in faster healing.

An OPG provides a panoramic view of the mouth, teeth and bones of the upper and lower jaws. This highly detailed x-ray is used when planning surgical procedures such as dental implants and wisdom teeth extraction or to diagnose problems with the facial bones or jaw joints.

By having an on-site laboratory we’re able to complete treatments such as fillings, inlays and on-lays, crowns and veneers much more quickly. This can reduce the number of appointment visits required to complete restorative or cosmetic treatments.

To ensure you are completely comfortable and can fully relax throughout your treatment appointment, we have installed a flat-screen TV in all rooms. We also have wireless headphones available so you can enjoy listening to your favourite music.
