Inman Aligner

The Inman Aligner is a simple removable appliance used to align front teeth quickly and safely.

Inman Aligners feature coil springs that push the front and back bows in opposite directions. Your teeth are positioned between the bows and are gently guided into their new position. These gentle forces are active over a very large range of movement, which is why Inman Aligners work so quickly and effectively.

While every case is different most people complete their treatment within 6-18 weeks. Following a comprehensive examination, which includes detailed impression moulds, the team at Infinity Dental Care can provide you with an accurate timeframe.

As with all orthodontic treatment it can take a little while to get used to wearing your Inman Aligners, which are generally worn for 16-20 hours a day. You will also be required to have regular check-up appointments every 2-3 weeks to monitor your progress and enable any necessary adjustments to be made.

At the completion of your treatment, a retention appliance is usually prescribed to ensure your newly positioned teeth don’t move out of alignment. Depending on your personal circumstances it may be a removable retainer or a wire retainer bonded to the back of your teeth. We will discuss the best option for you.
